Hello, my name is Joanne Hills. I’ve got four children. The eldest, Tara, is an eighteen-year-old with Down Syndrome. Then there’s Patrick, seventeen (and how), Shannon, thirteen, and Jarrod, nearly nine. I can’t believe how quickly time flies, how fast they grow up! I remember, some time after Tara was born, I read a book of families’ stories in it. Never did I think I’d be doing the same, eighteen years down the track.
