A little girl was born on the 7th December 1982 in Albury at the Mercy Hospital. We named this little girl NATALIE ROSANNA BUTKO. She was born a ßoppy little thing; no Doctor could tell us why she was this way. Natalie had trouble breathing so after two days she was transferred to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. On arriving there Natalie was put into a in Humi crib which had oxygen attached to it so it would help Natalie breathe better. She also had trouble sucking a bottle and her Mother had to feed her every 2 hours. Natalie was a very tiny baby. As her Mother I remember Natalie holding onto my thumb with her tiny little hand. The only noise that could be heard from Natalie was a squeal as she couldn’t cry and she was weak in strength.
