No name syndrome...

Do any of you have a child with the no name syndrome? Many children never find out what caused their disability and my son Scott is one of them so I have named it The No Name Syndrome. Scott was three years old when I took him to a doctor who said he was mentally retarded and I should think about giving him up and getting on with my life. He told me he would never amount to anything and he would like me to take him to Brisbane children’s hospital for some tests. I was totally shocked. At 18 months of age Scott had a bad case of german measles and was hospitalized for a week and I was later told this could have caused his syndrome but they never really could tell.
